Three big ones this release: callers now hear that they're being recorded, Voice AI is open to every property, and the AI's knowledge base has been rebuilt so you can see — and fix — exactly what it knows.
On every line with call recording on, callers now hear a short notice before anything else — before your greeting, your phone menu, your team's phones, or the AI.
It's on by default with a standard message: "Thanks for calling. This call is being transcribed and recorded."
Each line can keep the standard message, use its own (up to 300 characters), or play no notice — handy if your greeting already says it.
Pick from four voices and preview it before you save. If a custom message doesn't mention recording, you'll see a warning.
Find it in each number's settings, on the same card as Inbound Call Recording.
Recording-consent rules vary by state, so the final wording is your call — but the notice makes it easy to get right.
The AI that answers your inbound calls is no longer limited release. Switch on the Voice Agent in AI agent settings and it's ready to add to your call routing. It's labelled Beta while we keep refining it.
It answers the routine questions your front desk gets every day and hands the call to a team member the moment it needs a person.
It treats caller ID as unconfirmed: it only looks up the caller's own reservation and never reads out contact details or room numbers.
Bookings it takes use only the rooms and rates your booking engine is selling for those dates.
Every call it handles is listed under Voice Conversations on the AI agent page.
AI voice minutes and AI credits come with every plan.
Everything your AI knows now lives in one place, and you can check its answers before a guest ever asks.
Knowledge Base tab — every entry from your PMS, your website, and your team, with search and filters. Override any synced entry with your own wording, or tell the AI to ignore it.
Content Review — 39 questions guests commonly ask, across seven topics, with a coverage bar. Answer each one, or mark it not applicable so the AI knows (no pool, for example).
Scan your website with AI — give it your website and it drafts answers to those questions, each quoting the page it came from. Keep the ones you like.
Your website, kept current — add up to 50 pages, including PDFs at a link. They're re-fetched every week.
Conflicts flagged — when your PMS, your website and your team's answers disagree, Content Review shows each version and which one the AI is using, so you can pick.
Test Your AI — ask a question the way a guest would and see the answer and which entries it used. It checks live availability and rates, and you can ask follow-up questions.
Import and export your knowledge base as a spreadsheet.
Cloudbeds properties now get their property details, rooms, check-in times and amenities synced into the knowledge base automatically, the same way Mews properties do.
